Selling my condo, what is a fair realtor percentage?

I’m selling my condo and moving to a rental house. I do not want to give 6% plus closing costs to a realtor. What are my negotiating rights? Selling my condo in Rockland County, NY.

You can negotiate, but it may take awhile to Find A Realtor willing to negotiate. My Realtor lowered her fee to 5% because she found a buyer before I even put my house on the market. We then did a one day listing so this potential buyer could look at the property and she put in an offer the following day! You don’t pay 6% closing costs to a realtor – the closing costs are different than The Realtor‘s fee. However, 6% of the purchase price is typically the realtor’s fee, unless you can find one willing to negotiate.
