Realtors/lenders My buyer has been waiting to close for 3.5 months. Still no deed from sheriff sale….?

They told us it would be 60 days 90days ago now they say 20 more. My buyers do not want to wait any longer. They pulled their loan now they have RI re-apply. What action may I take, or should we renegotiate a new contract?
Sale took place and bank bought it back.

sounds like the foreclosure action is taking a little longer than they thought. there are several legal publications and court dates that have to be coordinated, and sometimes goes over the estimated time. you can check the court records yourself to see the status of the foreclosure. It is public record.
